GOODWILL'S MISSION IS SUPPORTED PRIMARILY BY REVENUE FROM THE SALE OF DONATED GOODS IN 34 ARKANSAS LOCATIONS. NINE LOCATIONS HAVE ONSITE CAREER NAVIGATORS WHO HELP JOB SEEKERS FIND THEIR NEXT GREAT JOB AND HELP EMPLOYERS FILL HIRING NEEDS. GOODWILL HELPS PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND DISADVANTAGES SECURE PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT WITH EARNINGS AT OR ABOVE MINIMUM WAGE. THE AVERAGE WAGE FOR PEOPLE PLACED IN JOBS IN FY 2022 IS $13.55. GOODWILL IS CARF ACCREDITED AND SUPPORTS PROGRAMS RANGING FROM YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES, TO REENTRY AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR JOB SEEKERS, AND CHANGES LIVES FOR THOUSANDS OF ARKANSAS EACH YEAR. GOODWILL SERVED 6,009 PEOPLE AND PLACED 489 PEOPLE IN EMPLOYMENT. OUR INTENSIVE PROGRAMS, ESPECIALLY JOB PLACEMENT PROGRAMS, HAVE GREAT SUCCESS RATES FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (55%) AND TRANSITIONAL EMPLOYMENT (96%).
THE TRANSITIONAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY (TEO) PROGRAM OFFERS JOB READINESS TRAINING AND JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES FOR PEOPLE AFTER INCARCERATION TO HELP THEM FIND WORK, LAUNCH CAREERS, AND REBUILD LIVES. THROUGH THE TEO PROGRAM, GOODWILL OFFERS AN ENVIRONMENT THAT SUPPORTS INDIVIDUALS AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD WITH NON-SEXUAL CRIMINAL OFFENSES WHO WANT TO REINTEGRATE INTO THE COMMUNITY AND MAKE POSITIVE CONTRIBUTIONS.
