WEST COAST DOG & CAT RESCUE (WCDC) IS AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE ORGANIZATION WHOSE PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO FUND PERMANENT ADOPTIVE HOMES FOR THE COMMUNITIES UNWANTED, NEGLECTED OR ABUSED CATS AND DOGS (WITH A FOCUS ON CATS AND SPECIAL NEEDS ANIMALS).

WCDC WORKS TO REDUCE PET OVERPOPULATION IN THE COMMUNITY THROUGH PUBLIC EDUCATION EFFORTS, WORKING WITH OTHER ANIMAL AGENCIES IN THE REGION AND BY ENSURING THAT ALL ANIMALS IN OUR PROGRAM ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED PRIOR TO ADOPTION. IN 2021, WCDC RESCUED APPROXIMATELY 880 NEGLECTED OR ABANDONED ANIMALS AND ADOPTED APPROXIMATELY 756 ANIMALS USING OUR NETWORK OF FOSTER HOMES AND ADOPTION CENTERS IN LOCAL PET STORES.
