ENVIRONMENT CALIFORNIA RESEARCH AND POLICY CENTER IS DEDICATED TO PROTECTING OUR AIR, WATER, AND OPEN SPACES. WE INVESTIGATE PROBLEMS, CRAFT SOLUTIONS, EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND DECISION-MAKERS AND HELP THE PUBLIC MAKE THEIR VOICES HEARD IN LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL DEBATES.

PUBLIC EDUCATION AND OUTREACH ACTIVITIES: RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS, DISTRIBUTING EDUCATIONAL LITERATURE, CONDUCTING SURVEYS AND DISCUSSING ISSUES WITH THE PUBLIC REACHING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS EACH YEAR ON THE FOLLOWING ISSUES: PROMOTING 100% RENEWABLE ENERGY STRATEGIES, CLEANING UP OUR WATERWAYS, AND BANNING TOXIC PESTICIDES USED IN FOOD PRODUCTION.
