THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS A TECHNOLOGY FUNDING AND DEPLOYMENT PROGRAM THAT SERVES TO CONNECT, COACH, AND SUPPORT STARTUPS BUILDING IMPORTANT, INNOVATIVE, AND EQUITABLE COMPANIES THAT HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT IMPACT IN THE AREAS OF ENERGY, WATER, TRANSPORTATION, FOOD AND AGRICULTURE, AND CIRCULAR ECONOMY.

THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS A TECHNOLOGY FUNDING AND DEPLOYMENT PROGRAM THAT SERVES TO CONNECT, COACH, AND SUPPORT STARTUPS BUILDING IMPORTANT, INNOVATIVE, AND EQUITABLE COMPANIES THAT HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT IMPACT IN THE AREAS OF ENERGY, WATER, TRANSPORTATION, FOOD AND AGRICULTURE, AND CIRCULAR ECONOMY. ADDITIONALLY, IN FURTHERANCE OF ITS EXEMPT PURPOSES, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FUNDING SUPPORT TO THE STARTUPS SELECTED FOR ITS PROGRAM TO CATALYZE THE IMPLEMENTATION AND APPLICATION OF THE STRATEGIES, METHODS, AND EDUCATION PROVIDED BY THE ORGANIZATION, AND THE DEVELOPMENT AND DEMONSTRATION OF THESE INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS THAT ARE OTHERWISE CONSIDERED TOO EXPENSIVE AND RISKY FOR A COMMERCIAL BUSINESS OR INVESTOR TO SUPPORT. ON THE LOCAL SCALE, THE ORGANIZATION WORKS WITH COMMUNITY, GOVERNMENT, BUSINESS, AND NONPROFIT REPRESENTATIVES TO IDENTIFY LOCAL AND REGIONAL CHALLENGES IN ENERGY, WATER, TRANSPORTATION, FOOD AND AGRICULTURE, AND VIRTUAL AND PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURE. ON THE GLOBAL SCALE, THE ORGANIZATION ALSO WORKS WITH NATIONAL OR MULTINATIONAL BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS TO IDENTIFY CHALLENGES AND ACCELERATE THE ADOPTION OF CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS. ONCE LOCAL AND GLOBAL NEEDS ARE IDENTIFIED, THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS, RECRUITS, AND SELECTS STARTUPS WITH SOLUTIONS THAT ADDRESS AN IDENTIFIED CRITICAL ISSUE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAM. FURTHERMORE, THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO EXPAND EQUITY AND ACCESS TO THE BENEFITS OF INNOVATIVE CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES THAT MAY IMPROVE HEALTH AND ECONOMIC OUTCOMES FOR FRONTLINE COMMUNITIES AND UNDERSERVED GROUPS. TO THIS END, THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS EQUITY AND ACCESS COACHING, PROVIDES RESOURCES, AND FACILITATES EDUCATIONAL AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH STARTUPS PARTICIPATING IN ITS PROGRAM FOR YOUTH, VETERANS, WOMEN, AND OTHER GROUPS UNDERREPRESENTED IN THE TECHNOLOGY SECTOR. THE ORGANIZATION IS EXEMPT FROM INCOME TAXES UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE U.S. INTERNAL REVENUE CODE AND IS NOT A PRIVATE FOUNDATION. ACCORDINGLY, QUALIFYING CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE ORGANIZATION ARE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.
