ON THE LOCAL SCALE, THE ORGANIZATION WORKS WITH COMMUNITY, GOVERNMENT, BUSINESS, AND NONPROFIT REPRESENTATIVES TO IDENTIFY LOCAL AND REGIONAL CHALLENGES IN ENERGY, WATER, TRANSPORTATION, FOOD AND AGRICULTURE, AND VIRTUAL AND PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURE. ON THE GLOBAL SCALE, THE ORGANIZATION ALSO WORKS WITH NATIONAL OR MULTINATIONAL BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS TO IDENTIFY CHALLENGES AND ACCELERATE THE ADOPTION OF CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS. ONCE LOCAL AND GLOBAL NEEDS ARE IDENTIFIED, THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS, RECRUITS, AND SELECTS STARTUPS WITH SOLUTIONS THAT ADDRESS AN IDENTIFIED CRITICAL ISSUE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAM. FURTHERMORE, THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO EXPAND EQUITY AND ACCESS TO THE BENEFITS OF INNOVATIVE CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES THAT MAY IMPROVE HEALTH AND ECONOMIC OUTCOMES FOR FRONTLINE COMMUNITIES AND UNDERSERVED GROUPS. TO THIS END, THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS EQUITY AND ACCESS COACHING, PROVIDES RESOURCES, AND FACILITATES EDUCATIONAL AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH STARTUPS PARTICIPATING IN ITS PROGRAM FOR YOUTH, VETERANS, WOMEN, AND OTHER GROUPS UNDERREPRESENTED IN THE TECHNOLOGY SECTOR.
