HEALTH PROGRAMS ARE PROGRAMS THAT ARE AVAILABLE AT THE CENTER. THESE HEALTH PROGRAMS' PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE RESOURCES AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES LINKAGE AND OUTREACH TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITIES TO HELP THEM OVERCOME MENTAL HEALTH AND RELATED ILLNESS BY THEIR PERSONAL ENCOUNTERED OR ENCOUNTERED BY THEIR FAMILIES OR LOVED ONES. THESE HEALTH PROGRAMS ARE VARIOUS PROJECTS TO HELP INDIVIDUALS FAMILIES AND ELDERLY WHO ARE AT RISK AND THE UNDERSERVED POPULATION IN THE COMMUNITY. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC WE WERE UNABLE TO DO FACE TO FACE GROUPS BUT WERE ABLE TO MEET IN SMALLER IN-PERSON GROUPS VIRTUALLY ON ZOOM AND THROUGH PHONE CALLS TO PARTICIPANTS. TOPICS INCLUDED ARE MENTAL HEALTH HEALTH LIFE SKILLS PHYSICAL CULTURAL WITH THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF LIVING HEALTHY LIVES. HMONG CULTURAL CENTER OF BUTTE COUNTY PROVIDED ESSENTIAL HEALTH ITEMS TO THE COMMUNITY SUCH MASKS HAND SANITATIONS GLOVES SOUPS AND MANY OTHER ITEMS TO THOUSANDS OF INDIVIDUALS TO HELP THE UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES AND KEEP THE COMMUNITY SAFE.
EDUCATION OUTREACH PROGRAMS ARE PROGRAMS THAT SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES FOR BETTER LIVES THROUGH THE EDUCATIONAL AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES. THIS PROGRAM USES VARIOUS PROJECT STRATEGIES TO SUPPORT AND HELP FAMILIES AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. THE GENERAL EFFORT FOR THESE PROGRAMS WERE CHILDREN YOUTH YOUNG ADULTS AND YOUNG PARENTS. MONTHLY EVENTS WERE CONDUCTED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FOR CHILDREN FAMILIES YOUTHS AND YOUNG PARENTS TO COME LEARN MEET EDUCATE AND SOCIALIZE. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC EDUCATION EVENTS WERE HELD VIRTUALLY AND THROUGH THE PHONE. DURING THE PANDEMIC HMONG CULTURAL CENTER OF BUTTE COUNTY WAS ABLE TO SUPPORT EDUCATE AND DISTRIBUTE ESSENTIAL ESSENTIAL ITEMS SUCH AS MASKS HAND SANITIZERS GLOVES SOUPS AND OTHER ITEMS TO THOUSANDS OF INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES TO HELP PROTECT THEM.
