THE CALIFORNIA WINE EDUCATION FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE VARIOUS FORUMS TO EDUCATE CONSUMERS ON CALIFORNIA WINES, WINERIES, AND WINE GRAPE GROWING, WITH A PRIMARY FOCUS ON LODI DISTRICT WINES AND WINERIES.

MAINTAINED A VISITOR CENTER AND WINE TASTING FACILITY WHICH ATTRACTED APPROXIMATELY 10,000 GUESTS THIS YEAR FOR THE PURPOSE OF EDUCATION RELATIVE TO THE LODI AND GREATER CALIFORNIA WINE AND WINEGRAPE INDUSTRY. HELD VARIOUS CLASSES AND DEMONSTRATIONS SHOWCASING LOCAL WINES AND OTHER PRODUCTS.
HOSTED A MAJOR WINE FESTIVAL, ZINFEST IN LODI TO PROMOTE LODI WINES AND WINERIES. THIS FESTIVAL WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR THIS YEAR BUT IS TYPICALLY ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 5,000 PEOPLE.
