DATA ON ACADEMIC SERVICES PLACE RISE IN THE TOP 3 OF AIECS FOR THE NUMBER OF STUDENT SERVICES, SERVICE HRS/STUDENT AND TOTAL HOURS BY PROGRAM, YEARROUND PROVISION OF SERVICES AND COLLABORATION AS WELL AS CULTURALLY APPROPRIATENESS. STUDENTS ARE WELL KNOWN ACROSS THE STATE FOR LEADERSHIP/SERVICE IN PREVENTION & HEALTH, ADVOCACY, PEER TRAINING, VIDEO, SONG, COMMUNITY EVENTS, CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS, AND DIVERSE CULTURAL PRESENTATIONS. RISE STAFF ESTABLISHED A PIT RIVER LANGUAGE PROGRAM WITHIN 4 SCHOOLS FOR ALL NATIVE AMERICAN STUDENTS, FNL CHAPTERS IN 3 SCHOOLS FOR ALL 6-12, COMMUNITY CIRCLES WITH 2 RESERVATIONS, SUMMER PROGRAMS FOR ALL NATIVE STUDENTS FROM 5 SCHOOLS. VIDEOS FROM RISE YOUTH HAVE BEEN SCREENED AT MANY FILM FESTIVALS. YOUTH DANCERS AND MUSICIANS HAVE BEEN NOMINATED FOR MUSIC AWARDS AND WON AN AWARD FOR FILM. RISE IS PLANNING WORKSHOPS THAT WILL REACH 800+ STUDENTS AT THE STATEWIDE YOUTH CONFERENCE BRINGING THEIR PROGRAM OUTSIDE OF THEIR LOCAL AREA.
