EDUCATION AND OUTREACH: EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND SPECIALTY CONFERENCES, PREPARATION OF PUBLICATIONS AND GENERAL INFORMATION FOR MEMBERS AND OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES REGARDING WATER REUSE AND DESALINATION.THE WATEREUSE ASSOCIATION EDUCATES THE PUBLIC AND POLICYMAKERS ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF WATER REUSE--AND EDUCATES OUR MEMBERS ABOUT WATER REUSE BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES AND INDUSTRY INNOVATIONS.
ADVOCACY AND POLICY: COMMUNICATION WITH FEDERAL AND STATE LEGISLATORS/REGULATORS AND STAFF MEMBERS REGARDING WATER REUSE AND DESALINATION, INCLUDING DRAFTING LEGISLATIVE/REGULATORY PROPOSALS AND GATHERING/PROVIDING INFORMATION ON RELEVANT WATER ISSUES.THE WATEREUSE ASSOCIATION AND OUR STATE SECTIONS ADVOCATE EVERY DAY FOR FEDERAL AND STATE POLICIES AND FUNDING TO SUPPORT WATER REUSE.
