TO PROMOTE THE BEST INTERESTS OF INDIVIDUALS ENGAGED IN THE RECYCLING INDUSTRY BY ADVANCING THE TRADE AND COMMERCE OF ITS MEMBERS AND DISSEMINATING INFORMATION TO ACCOMPLISH THAT GOAL. ISRI'S OPERATIONS ARE SUPPORTED PRIMARILY THROUGH MEMBERSHIP DUES, FEES CHARGED FOR SERVICES AND PROGRAMS, AND ADVERTISING INCOME.

GOVERNMENT RELATIONS: POLICY DEVELOPMENT, REPRESENTATION AND SUPPORT OF ISRI'S MEMBERS CONCERNING ISSUES BEFORE FEDERAL AGENCIES, CONGRESS AND THE WHITE HOUSE AS WELL AS STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS.


CONVENTION: ANNUAL GATHERING OF MEMBERS AND NONMEMBERS WITH GENERAL SESSIONS AND WORKSHOPS COVERING ALL ASPECTS OF RECYCLING, AND INCLUDES AN EXHIBITION.


PUBLICATION SERVICES: BIMONTHLY PUBLICATION OF SCRAP MAGAZINE, ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY, WEEKLY MONDAY AND FRIDAY REPORTS.
