IN FULFILLMENT OF OUR MISSION, WE CONDUCTED AN ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE EACH SUMMER WITH MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED PRESENTERS; NUMEROUS PRESENTATIONS PROVIDE CE CREDITS FOR MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS. WE HOSTED A YEAR-LONG RESEARCH TALK ZOOM SERIES THAT WAS FREE TO THE PUBLIC, AND HOSTED SEVERAL SMALLER REGIONAL CONFERENCES. WE OFFERED A VARIETY OF ONLINE COURSES AND DREAMS GROUPS THROUGH OUR ONLINE ACTIVITY CENTER, SUCH AS OUR DREAM STUDY GROUPS PROGRAM (DSGP) AND FOUNDATION SERIES COURSES. WE ALSO SUPPORT DREAM RESEARCH AND PRESENTATIONS ON NIGHTMARE AND PTSD TREATMENT.
JOURNAL OF IASD, "DREAMING," MAGAZINE OF IASD, "DREAM TIME," REGIONAL & ONLINE CONFERENCES. THROUGH THESE OUTLETS AND OTHER INITIATIVES, IASD FURTHERS THE PURSUIT OF THE PURE AND APPLIED INVESTIGATION OF DREAMS AND DREAMING. THE PURPOSES ARE TO PROMOTE AN AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION OF DREAMS IN BOTH PROFESSIONAL AND PUBLIC ARENAS; TO ENCOURAGE RESEARCH INTO THE NATURE, FUNCTION, AND SIGNIFICANCE OF DREAMING; TO ADVANCE THE APPLICATION OF THE STUDY OF DREAMS; AND TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR THE ECLECTIC AND INTERDISCIPLINARY EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AND INFORMATION. IASD PUBLISHES THE REFEREED JOURNAL, DREAMING, WHICH PROVIDES NEW SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ON DREAMING. IASD ALSO PUBLISHES ITS OWN IN-HOUSE MAGAZINE, DREAMTIME, TO EDUCATE MEMBERS.
