NAMI SONOMA COUNTY'S MISSION IS TO BUILD BETTER LIVES FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY MENTAL ILLNESS THROUGHOUT SONOMA COUNTY BY PROVIDING EDUCATION, SUPPORT, AND ADVOCACY.

NAMI SONOMA COUNTY HELPS PEOPLE AFFECTED BY MENTAL ILLNESS, AND THOSE WHO CARE FOR AND SUPPORT THEM, TO BUILD A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH EDUCATION, SUPPORT, AWARENESS, ANDADVOCACY. IN THE YEAR ENDING 6/30/21, OUR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES PROVIDED OVER 7,000 UNITS OF SERVICE. BELOW IS A RECAP OF OUR PROGRAMS AND THOSE SERVED: 690 FIRST TIME WARM LINE CALLERS 4,490 WARMLINE FOLLOW-UP SUPPORT CALLS 96 FAMILIES SUPPORTED AFTER A MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS, REFERRED BY COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIVISION'S MOBILE SUPPORT TEAM 8 FAMILIES SUPPORTING A CHILD OR ADOLESCENT WITH MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES, REFERRED BY COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIVISION'S YOUTH & FAMILY SERVICES TEAM 80 FAMILY SUPPORT GROUPS, ATTENDED BY 720 FAMILY MEMBERS 86 CONNECTION SUPPORT GROUPS (FOR INDIVIDUALS IN RECOVERY FROM A MENTAL HEALTHCONDITION), ATTENDED BY 1,010 PEERS 4 EIGHT-WEEK NAMI FAMILY-TO-FAMILY CLASSES CONDUCTED; 50 FAMILY MEMBER GRADUATES 5 THREE-DAY NAMI PROGRAM LEADER TRAININGS; 18 NEW LEADERS FOR NAMI SONOMA COUNTY 84 NAMI ENDING THE SILENCE PRESENTATIONS; 2,072 STUDENTS & 82 PARENTS REACHED 22 MENTAL HEALTH PRESENTATIONS FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS; 540 ADULTS REACHED 130 WELLNESS & STRESS RELIEF GROUPS; 607 PARTICIPANTS 3 NAMITALKS (PRESENTATIONS ON MENTAL HEALTH LAW, EARLY PSYCHOSIS AND SETTING BOUNDARIES FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS) 11 E-NEWSLETTERS; 1800 SUBSCRIBERS
