TOWN CONTRACT: PROMOTE TRUCKEE AS A TOURISM DESTINATION AND ENCOURAGE VISITATION BY CREATING AWARENESS THROUGH A VARIETY MARKETING EFFORTS, PROVIDING INFORMATION AND GENERATING LEADS FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES. PROVIDE VISITOR SERVICES TO ENHANCE THE EXPERIENCE BY MANAGING AND OPERATING THE CALIFORNIA WELCOME CENTER OFFERING INFORMATION AND SERVICES FOR TRAVELERS. DEVELOP PROGRAMS FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO RETAIN AND GROW EXISTING BUSINESSES AND ATTRACT BUSINESS THAT WILL DIVERSIFY THE ECONOMY.
