BUTTE COUNTY MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION IS CONSTITUTED AND ESTABLISHED TO UNITE THE EFFORTS OF THE COUNTY MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISORY EMPLOYEES FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THEIR CONDITIONS, IMPROVEMENT OF THE QUALITY OF THEIR SERVICES, AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF A HIGHER DEGREE OF EFFICIENCY AND PROFICIENCY IN THEIR OCCUPATIONS; TO SECURE AND MAINTAIN A HEALTHY WORK/LIFE BALANCE; TO SEEK ESTABLISHMENT OF POLITICAL AND SOCIAL EQUALITY; TO USE EVERY HONORABLE METHOD TO ELEVATE ITS MEMBERS IN THE ECONOMIC, MORAL, AND SOCIAL SCALE OF LIFE; TO HELP OUR MEMBERS BECOME BETTER PEOPLE, UNITED IN BUILDING A STRONGER COMMUNITY IN WHICH TO FLOURISH; AND TO ENGAGE IN ANY LAWFUL ACT OR ACTIVITY FOR WHICH A NONPROFIT MUTUAL BENEFIT CORPORATION MAY BE ORGANIZED.
