THE GULF COAST SYMPHONY EXISTS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE CULTURAL ENRICHMENT OF LEE COUNTY BY PRODUCING AND PERFORMING A BROAD VARIETY OF CONCERTS AND CREATING INNOVATIVE BALANCED PROGRAMS OF PERFORMANCES EVENT COMMUNITY & EDUCATION PROJECT TO REACH THE WIDEST POSSIBLE AUDIENCES.

THE GULF COAST SYMPHONY ENCOURAGES THE GROWTH OF SYMPHONIC MUSIC IN THE GREATER COMMUNITY BY PERFORMING A VARIETY OF CONCERTS EACH YEAR INCLUDING CLASSICAL POPS AND FAMILY EDUCATION CONCERTS. THE GULF COAST SYMPHONY PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR AREA MUSICIANS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ORCHESTRAL EXPERIENCE AT THE VERY HIGHEST LEVELS. THE GULF COAST SYMPHONY HELPS PROMOTE THE CAREERS OF EMERGING ARTISTS BY FEATURING THEM AS SOLOISTS AT OUR CONCERTS AND IN RECITAL. THESE SAME ARTISTS PARTICIPATE IN THE SYMPHONY'S EDUCATION PROGRAMS. WITH FURTHER RELAXING OF COVID RESTRICTIONS WE RESUMED OUR NORMAL SCHEDULE WITH 16 CONCERTS AT THE BARBARA B. MANN PERFORMING ARTS HALL INCLUDING THE NUTCRACKER WITH GULFSHORE BALLET AND DECK THE HALLS WITH THE FORT MYERS SYMPHONIC MASTERSINGERS AND A FULL PRODUCTION OF CABARET. IN ADDITION TO THESE CONCERTS AT BARBARA B. MANN THIS SEASON WAS THE FIRST FULL YEAR OF PROGRAMMING AT OUR MUSIC & ART COMMUNITY CENTER WHICH OPENED IN JANUARY 2021. WE PRESENTING 12 ORCHESTRA CONCERTS 3 MUSICALS FOR 42 PERFORMANCES A JAZZ SERIES 7 SHOWS A CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES 5 SHOWS AND 3 STARS AT THE MACC CABARETS. IN ALL THE GULF COAST SYMPHONY PRESENTED 93 PERFORMANCES THIS SEASON. WE ALSO BEGAN COMMUNITY OUTREACH PRODUCING WITH THE CAPE CORAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TASTE OF THE CAPE A CELEBRATION OF LOCAL CULINARY ARTISTS AND MUSIC. WE ALSO RAN OUR FIRST SUMMER CAMP WITH PROGRAMS FOR BEGINNING STRINGS JAZZ ORCHESTRA AND MUSICAL THEATER.
