BAYOU ACADEMY STRIVES TO PROVIDE EACH CHILD WITH AN EXCELLENT EDUCATION IN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT PROMOTES RIGOUROUS ACADEMIC CHALLENGES, CHRISTIAN VALUES AND STUDENT ENGAGED INSTRUCTION.

WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DIVERSIFY OUR STUDENT POPULATION AS A RESULT OF MINORITY SCHOLARSHIP THAT WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2003. FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR, WE HAD 32 MINORITY FAMILIES, 9 OF WHICH APPLIED FOR AND WERE AWARDED THE MINORITY SCHOLARSHIP. THE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THESE FAMILIES ENCOMPASSED 10 STUDENTS. WE HAD A TOTAL OF 605 STUDENTS, OF WHICH 49 GRADUATED AND WERE AWARDED OVER 1.17 MILLION IN FINANCIAL AID TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION.
