BRICOLAGE ACADEMY IS A CHARTER SCHOOL THAT OPENED IN NEW ORLEANS IN AUGUST 2013 WITH KINDERGARTEN. BRICOLAGE COMPLETED ITS EIGHTH SUCCESSFUL YEAR IN MAY 2021 WITH STRONG ACADEMIC GROWTH AND SIGNIFICANT PARENT DEMAND. IN THE FALL OF 2020, BRICOLAGE ADDED 7TH GRADE AND NOW HAS 787 STUDENTS ACROSS THE SCHOOL. THE BRICOLAGE STUDENT EXPERIENCE INCLUDES BALANCED LITERACY, MATH WORKSHOP, CONTENT AREA STUDIES, INNOVATION CLASSES, CO-CURRICULARS, SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING, AND ADDITIONAL INTERVENTION AND SUPPORT AS NEEDED. CRITICAL THINKING, CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING AND COLLABORATION ARE INTEGRATED INTO THE ENTIRE MODEL.
