UNIVERSAL ACADEMY IS AN OPEN ENROLLMENT CHARTER SCHOOL THAT WAS FOUNDED IN 1998. SINCE ITS INCEPTION UNIVERSAL ACADEMY CURRENTLY HAS TWO CAMPUS LOCATIONS (IRVING AND COPPELL TEXAS). TEXAS EDUCATION AGENCY GRANTED UNIVERSAL ACADEMY A 10- YEAR CHARTER RENEWAL IN 2022. UNIVERSAL ACADEMY ALSO RECEIVED TEXAS EDUCATION AGENCY'S APPROVAL FOR A SITE EXPANSION TO BARTONVILLE, TEXAS WITH AN EXCLUSIVE HIGH-QUALITY DESIGNATION. THE STUDENT ENROLLMENT FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR WAS 2042 STUDENTS IN GRADES PRE-KINDERGARTEN - 12TH GRADE.
