HOME CONSTRUCTION/ HOMEOWNER PROGRAM: HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF THE RIVER VALLEY(HFHRV) BUILDS SAFE, DECENT, DURABLE, AND AFFORDABLE HOMES FOR QUALIFIED HOMEBUYERS WHO EARN BETWEEN 25% AND 60% OF THE ANNUAL AREA MEDIAN INCOME AS DEFINED BY HUD. OUR HOME CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM ALLOWS FOR FAMILIES TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVING CONDITIONS, INVEST IN THE COMMUNITY, AND PROVIDE FOR FUTURE GROWTH. SINCE 1987, HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF THE RIVER VALLEY HAS SERVED OVER 300 HOMEBUYERS THROUGH OUR HOME CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM. BETWEE JULY 1, 2021 AND JUNE 30, 2022, HFHRV SOLD NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOMES TO 10 QUALIFIED FAMILIES. AS OF THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR, HFHRV WAS FINISHING CONSTRUCTION OF 3 ADDITIONAL HOMES IN MADISON COUNTY.
