TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE ON A SHORT TERM BASIS TO FAMILIES OR INDIVIDUALS IN PORTLAND, COTTONTOWN, WESTMORELAND & BETHPAGE COMMUNITIES. PRIMARILY FOCUS ON PROVIDING FOOD, UTILITY, PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION, SENIOR ADULT PACKAGES AND HOUSING ASSISTANCE FOR FAMILIES OR INDIVIDUALS IN NEED. DURING THE CURRENT YEAR PROGRAMS INCLUDED HELP FOR THOSE SEEKING A GED AND TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL COUNSELING, AS WELL AS FOOD AND SHELTER. 1,101 FAMILIES WERE SERVED DURING THE 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR.
