MEDICAL FINANCIAL SERVICES, INC. PROVIDES COLLECTION SERVICES FOR BAPTIST MEMORIAL HEALTH CARE CORPORATION OWNED OR MANAGED FACILITIES IN THE MEMPHIS METRO AREA. THIS ELIMINATES THE NEED FOR IN-HOUSE COLLECTION PERSONNEL, ALLOWING THESE RESOURCES TO BE USED IN THE PATIENT-CARE FUNCTION. THESE SERVICES ARE PERFORMED AT A LOWER COST THAN TAXABLE FOR-PROFIT COLLECTION AGENCIES, ENABLING THE HOSPITALS WITHIN THE BAPTIST MEMORIAL HEALTH CARE SYSTEM TO REINVEST THE SAVINGS INTO IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF AND LOWERING THE COST OF HEALTH CARE IN THE COMMUNITIES SERVED.
