PART OF ASCENSION WISCONSIN, WHEATON FRANCISCAN HEALTHCARE - SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN, INC. IS THE REGIONAL PARENT ORGANIZATION FOR WHEATON FRANCISCAN HEALTHCARE ENTITIES LOCATED IN THE SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN REGION. WHEATON FRANCISCAN HEALTHCARE - SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR OTHER ORGANIZATIONS BY PROVIDING SERVICES SUCH AS FINANCE, ADMINISTRATIVE, HUMAN RESOURCES, BENEFITS MANAGEMENT, LEGAL, AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT. MIDWEST ORTHOPEDIC SPECIALTY HOSPITAL (MOSH) IS A LICENSED 16-BED FACILITY IN FRANKLIN, WISCONSIN. THE HOSPITAL, WHICH OPENED IN 2009, IS A JOINT VENTURE BETWEEN 24 INDEPENDENT ORTHOPEDIC PHYSICIANS AND WHEATON FRANCISCAN HEALTHCARE - SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN, INC. MOSH OFFERS COMPREHENSIVE ORTHOPEDIC SERVICES AND PAIN MANAGEMENT FROM BOARD CERTIFIED PHYSICIANS IN A HIGH TECHNOLOGY SETTING. ANCILLARY SERVICES, SUCH AS RADIOLOGY, LAB, PHARMACY AND REHABILITATION SERVICES, ARE PROVIDED BY WHEATON FRANCISCAN HEALTHCARE - FRANKLIN. THE GOAL IS TO HELP PATIENTS REACH THEIR HIGHEST LEVELS OF STRENGTH, FUNCTION AND INDEPENDENCE. STAFF INCLUDES MEDICAL SPECIALISTS, AS WELL AS PHYSICAL AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS. TOGETHER, THEY COMBINE EXPERIENCE, SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE WITH LEADING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL INSTRUCTION, TREATMENT AND FOLLOW-UP CARE. A FULL-SERVICE IMAGING DEPARTMENT IS EQUIPPED WITH ADVANCED DIGITAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGY, INCLUDING A CT SCANNER AND MRI ALONG WITH EXPERIENCED, BOARD-CERTIFIED RADIOLOGISTS TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE ORTHOPEDIC CARE. THE PHYSICIANS FOCUS ON 14 AREAS OF ORTHOPEDIC SERVICES, WITH ONE PATIENT-FOCUSED APPROACH. UPON OPENING THE HOSPITAL, THE PHYSICIANS AND STAFF SIGNED A COMMITMENT STATEMENT THAT PROMISED PATIENTS THREE THINGS: 1) THAT EVERYTHING THEY DO IS FOR THE PATIENT'S HEALTH AND COMFORT; 2) THAT THEY PERFORM ALL CLINICAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITY; 3) AND THAT THEY ESTABLISH A CULTURE OF MUTUAL RESPECT AMONG PHYSICIANS AND EMPLOYEES TO BUILD THE BEST POSSIBLE PATIENT EXPERIENCE. AS A RESULT, PATIENT SATISFACTION SCORES HAVE ROUTINELY BEEN IN THE 90TH PERCENTILE IN EVERY CATEGORY FOR SEVERAL YEARS, AND FOR THIS MOSH HAS ALSO WON THE PRESTIGIOUS PRESS GANEY SUMMIT AWARD AND GUARDIAN OF EXCELLENCE AWARD FOR BOTH PATIENT SATISFACTION AND CLINICAL QUALITY.
