MAINTAIN GARDEN AT LOCAL HISTORICAL HOME AND PROVIDE FUNDS FOR ITS UPKEEP. PROVIDE PUBLIC FREE ACCESS TO THE GARDEN. STIMULATE KNOWLEDGE OF GARDENING, AID IN PROTECTION OF TREES, PLANTS AND BIRDS, AND ENCOURAGE CIVIC PLANTING.
COFFEE TREE PROJECT - THE GARDEN CLUB DELIVERS SEEDLINGS TO FOURTH GRADERS IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS. THE COFFEE TREE IS A NATIVE KENTUCKY TREE, AND THE MISSION OF EDUCATING STUDENTS ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE PLANT, GROWING AND PROPOGATING IT IS ENGAGED IN BY THE MEMBERS OF THE GARDEN CLUB. THE MEMBERS GATHER COFFEE TREE PODS AND PLANT THEM TO GROW INTO SEEDLINGS.
