THE HOPE MINISTRIES FOOD PANTRY COLLECTS FOOD FOR THE DISTRIBUTION TO THOSE IN NEED IN THE COMMUNITY. THEY RAISED MONEY IN 2014 TO BUILD A NEW FACILITY NEAR FALLING SPRINGS. AFTER 9/1/2015 THEY WILL NOT BE REPORTED WITH THIS ASSOCIATION.
THE MENTORS & MEALS PROGRAM PROVIDES PEER MENTORING AND SCHOOL WORK ASSISTANCE AS WELL AS REGULAR MEALS FOR THOSE MOST IN NEED IN THE COMMUNITY. PRIMARILY, HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT VOLUNTEERS ASSIST MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH THEIR STUDIES WHILE THE PROGRAM COLLECTS AND DISTRIBUTES MEALS DURING THE PROGRAM TIME.
THE PRESCRIPTION FUND HELPS TO PAY FOR MEDICATION FOR THOSE IN NEED IN THE COMMUNITY WHO HAVE BEEN TREATED AT BLUE GRASS COMMUNITY HOSPITAL.
