MAY AND JUNE OF 2024 HELD FOUR (4) TAKE KIDS FISHING EVENTS WITH OVER 1,200 CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN ATTENDANCE, NATUREFEST EVENT WAS HELD IN SEPTEMBER OF 2023 WITH OVER 450 CHILDREN AND ADULTS PARTICIPATING, AND BELL WITCH (TORCHLIGHT TALES) EVENT WAS HELD IN OCTOBER 2023 WITH OVER 250 CHILDREN AND ADULTS PARTICIPATING. INDIVIDUALS USING THE WALKING TRAILS - 500, VISITING BOTANICAL GARDENS - 300, SUPPORTED BENEFIT FOR THE BEND - 250, HUMMINGBIRD FESTIVAL EVENT (RAINED OUT IN 2023). HAD 4 SESSIONS OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN THE CLASSROOM WITH 6 DIFFERENT SCHOOL ATTENDING ON 3 FRIDAYS AND ONE ON TUESDAY IN SEPTEMBER 2023, APRIL AND MAY IN 2024 WITH OVER 600 STUDENTS AND 100 TEACHERS PARTICIPATED IN LEARNING ABOUT WATER QUALITY, ALL ABOUT INSECTS, SOIL CONSERVATION, ALL ABOUT WEATHER, ALL ABOUT TREES, ALL ABOUT WILDLIFE, POLLINATORS, INVASIVE PLANTS, ECOSYSTEM, AND YOUR WATER SOURCE.
