PEOPLE'S SELF-HELP HOUSING CONSTRUCTS AFFORDABLE NEW HOMES FOR LOW AND VERY LOW-INCOME FAMILIES IN LEWIS COUNTY, KY FINANCED IN PART THROUGH FEDERAL AND STATE LOANS AND GRANTS, 2 NEW HOMES WERE CONSTRUCTED IN 2022. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO MAKES IMPROVEMENTS TO EXISTING HOMES FOR LOW INCOME HOMEOWNERS TO REPAIR THEIR HOMES, 24 HOUSEHOLDS WERE ASSISTED WITH REPAIRS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO MAINTAINS AND MANAGES 150 AFFORDABLE RENTAL UNITS.
