OUR MISSION IS TO ASSIST THE NORTHERN KENTUCKY COMMUNITY IN EFFECTIVELY ENTERING THE 21ST CENTURY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF HIGH QUALITY AND TECHNICALLY ADVANCED STAFF SERVICES TO LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, AGENCIES, AND CITIZENS.

AREA AGENCY ON AGING AND INDEPENDENT LIVING - THE AGENCY WAS CREATED TO RESPOND TO THE NEEDS OF OLDER ADULTS. IT WORKS AS ADVOCATES, PLANNERS, COORDINATORS, AND DEVELOPERS TO ENSURE THE NEEDED SERVICES TO CITIZENS OF THE COMMUNITY WHO ARE 60 YEARS OR OLDER. THE AGENCY WILL CONTRACT WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS IN THE AREA TO DELIVER SERVICES TO SENIORS. THE AGENCY ASSESSES THE SERVICES PROVIDED AND MONITORS THE PROVIDERS FOR COMPLIANCE TO PREDETERMINED SERVICE LEVELS. FUNDING PROVIDED BY KENTUCKY CABINET FOR HEALTH AND FAMILY SERVICES.
WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT - THE PROGRAM ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS AND EMPLOYERS BY PROVIDING OCCUPATIONAL AND EMPLOYMENT SKILLS AND TRAINING AND PROMOTING SELF SUFFICIENT EMPLOYMENT. FUNDING PROVIDED BY KENTUCKY CABINET FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT.
COMMODITIES - COMMODITIES DISTRIBUTION IS A DIVISION OF HUMAN SERVICES THAT SEEKS TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL NORTHERN KENTUCKY RESIDENTS BY PLANNING AND PROVIDING DEVELOPMENT, ADVOCACY,AND PROGRAMS TO ASSIST NORTHERN KENTUCKY RESIDENTS IN LEADING MEANINGFUL AND DIGNIFIED LIVES. COMMODITIES DISTRIBUTES FOOD TO NORTHERN KENTUCKY RESIDENTS WHO NEED IT THE MOST. FUNDING PROVIDED BY THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE.
OTHER PROGRAMS: SUPPORTIVE HOUSING - PROGRAM FOR THE PROVISION OF HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO THE HOMELESS THROUGH P.L.A.N.K.S. AND RURAL CASE MANAGEMENT. FUNDING IS PROVIDED BY H.U.D. THROUGH THE KENTUCKY HOUSING CORPORATION. OTHER FEDERAL, STATE, & LOCAL PROGRAMS - MOST OF THESE PROGRAMS DEAL WITH VARIOUS OTHER SERVICES FROM COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION.
