LAWRENCEBURG MAIN STREET, INC HAS AN ACTIVE IMPROVEMENT AND BEAUTIFICATION PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES GRANT PROGRAMS FOR COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL FACADE PAINT AND IMPROVEMENT, AS WELL AS SIGNS AND AWNINGS. BUSINESSES ARE GIVEN 50% OF THE COST FOR PAINT/FACADE IMPROVEMENTS UP TO $1,000. SIMILARLY, A BUSINESS MAY RECEIVE 50% UP TO $1,000 FOR SIGNS AND AWNINGS. RESIDENTS MAY RECEIVE UP TO $500 FOR EXTERIOR PAINT AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THEIR HOMES.
