THE RURAL COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (RCAP) PROVIDES TECHNICAL SERVICES ON A LOCAL LEVEL TO SMALL RURAL COMMUNITIES, PRIMARILY IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND/OR MANAGEMENT OF WATER AND WASTEWATER FACILITIES.
WVCAP COORDINATES CAPACITY BUILDING AND COLLABORATION IN PROVIDING TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCIES IN WEST VIRGINIA.
FEDERAL GRANT FROM THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION TO COORDINATE AND PROVIDE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO VERY LOW-INCOME VETERAN FAMILIES WHO:(I) ARE RESIDING IN PERMANANT HOUSING, (II) ARE HOMELESS AND SCHEDULED TO BECOME RESIDENTS OF PERMANENT HOUSING WITHIN 90 DAYS, AND (III) AFTER EXITING PERMANENT HOUSING WITHIN A SPECIFIED TIME PERIOD, ARE SEEKING OTHER HOUSING THAT IS RESPONSIVE TO SUCH VERY LOW-INCOME VETERAN FAMILY'S NEEDS AND PREFERENCES, AS FURTHER DESCRIBED AND DEFINED IN 38 CFR PART 62.
