THE GREATER EASTON DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP (GEDP) IS A VOLUNTEER DRIVEN, NON-PROFIT ENTITY THAT COLLABORATES TO NURTURE EASTONS ECONOMIC WELL-BEING AND CULTURAL VIBRANCY.WE STRIVE TOWARDS MAKING EASTON A NATIONAL MODEL OF A LIVABLE AND WELCOMING SMALL CITY.
THE HISTORIC WEST WARD IS A COLORFUL, SAFE AND DESIRABLE NEIGHBORHOOD FULLY INTEGRATED INTO EASTONS VIBRANT URBAN FABRIC. RESIDENTS HAVE DIRECT AND AFFORDABLE ACCESS TO EXCELLENT EDUCATION AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES, LOCAL JOBS AND SUPPORT SERVICES. NEIGHBORHOOD AMENITIES ARE CONNECTED BY A SYSTEM OF IMPROVED SIDEWALKS, BICYCLE ROUTES AND TREE-LINES STREETS. THE WEST WARD'S CHERISHED PARKS AND OPEN SPACES HOST MANY OF THE COMMUNITY'S UNIQUE EVENTS AND ART INSTALLATIONS THAT DRAW VISITORS AND SHOWCASE LOCAL CREATIVITY
THE AMBASSADORS PROGRAM PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO BUSINESS OWNERS, RESIDENTS, AND VISITORS BY HELPING TO IMPROVE CLEANLINESS AND SAFETY OF DOWNTOWN EASTON AND BY PROVIDING HOSPITALITY SERVICES.
