THE HENDERSON COUNTY FAMILY YMCA IS A CHARITABLE, NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY SERVICE ORGANIZATION THAT WELCOMES AND INCLUDES MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN OF ALL AGES, ABILITIES, INCOMES, RACES, AND RELIGIONS. WE ARE DEDICATED TO BUILDING STRONG KIDS, STRONG FAMILIES, AND STRONG COMMUNITIES BY PUTTING CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES INTO PRACTICE THROUGH PROGRAMS, SERVICES, AND FACILITIES THAT PROMOTE HEALTHY LIFESTYLES, STRONG VALUES, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, AND COMMUNITY INTERACTION. ALL PERSONS ARE WELCOME AT OUR YMCA, REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY. WE OFFER A WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE WHERE MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS FEEL COMFORTABLE AND RECEIVE THE SUPPORT THEY NEED TO IMPROVE THEIR MENTAL, SPIRITUAL, AND PHYSICAL HEALTH. YMCA PROGRAMS HELP DEVELOP SELF-ESTEEM AND SELF-CONFIDENCE, BUILD LASTING RELATIONSHIPS, AND INCREASED CIVIC ENGAGEMENT. PROGRAMS AND MEMBERSHIPS ARE OFFERED AT AFFORDABLE FEES FOR THE COMMUNITY-AT-LARGE, WITH A VERY GENEROUS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM IN PLACE FOR THOSE UNABLE TO PAY THE FULL FEES.
