WRITE GRANTS, EDUCATE COMMUNITIES, OVERSEE OPERATION OF HOMELESS MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (HMIS), AND PROVIDE INFORMATION AND REFERRALS. USERS OF THE SYSTEM ARE TRAINED ON HOW TO OPERATE THE SYSTEM TO ALLOW EFFECTIVE ANALYSIS OF THE DATA FOR USE IN ASSESSING THE NEEDS AND TRENDS IN THE COMMUNITIES SERVICED. PART OF THE MISSION IS TO PROMITE PARTNERSHIPS THAT WILL REDUCE AND PREVENT HOMELESSNESS AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND RREFERRALS CONNECTING PEOPLE TO NEEDED SERVICES. PROVIDING OUTREACH CASE MANAGEMENT TO THOSE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS THROUGHOUT CITRUS, HERNANDO, LAKE, SUMTER AND MARION COUNTIES.
