THE BREVARD HOMELESS COALITION IS A HUD-DESIGNATED LEAD AGENCY FOR THE BREVARD COUNTY CONTINUUM OF CARE, RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING ALL MATTERS REGARDING HOMELESSNESS IN BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO 1) MANAGING THE COORDINATED ENTRY PROCESS, 2) APPLYING FOR, RECEIVING, REPORTING, MEASURING AND MONITORING ALL RELEVANT FEDERAL AND STATE HOMELESS GRANTS, AND 3) COORDINATING RELEVANT COMMUNITY-WIDE COLLABORATIONS IN THE AREAS OF HEALTH CARE, EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, CHILDCARE, AND LAW ENFORCEMENT.
