THE CFWL FOUNDATION RAISES FUNDS THROUGH A VARIETY OF EVENTS DURING THE YEAR TO PROVIDE CHARITABLE DONATIONS TO LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS BASED ON ACADEMICS, COMMUNITY SERVICE AND FINANCIAL NEED.

FUNDRAISING EFFORTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FROM A VARIETY OF EVENTS PROVIDES THE INCOME FOR THE GRANTS TO NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. FOR THIS YEAR THE FOLLOWING GROUPS RECEIVED GRANTS: HAPPY TRAILS ANIMAL RESCUE, HOPE COMMUNITY CENTER, SENIORS FIRST, INC, FAMILY PROMISE OF GREATER ORLANDO AND SPECIAL HEARTS FARM. FUNDRAISING EFFORTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FROM A VARIETY OF EVENTS PROVIDE THE RESOURCES FOR COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS, SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO FEMALE APPLICANTS BASED ON FINANCIAL NEED, ACADEMIC HISTORY, EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITES AND COMMUNITY SERVICE. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THE FOUNDATION HOSTS LUNCHEONS TO DISCUSS AND RAISE AWARENESS OF THE NEED OT THE COMMUNUITY. THEY ALSO HAVE A SPECIAL SERVICE PROJECT COMMITTEE TO ASSIST OTHER NON-PROFIT CHARITES. FOR INSTANCE, IN 2020, THEY DONATED TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY.
