THE ORGANIZATION HAS CONDUCTED A NUMBER OF RESEARCH PROJECTS.1R01AI135146-01A1 BASIC RESEARCH TO DIAGNOSTICS AND SURBEILLANE IN LOWER RESOURCE ENVIRONMENTS. THE AIMS OF THIS PROJECT ARE TO EXPLORE AND DEVELOP FASTER AND LESS EXPENSIVE DIAGNOSTIC TOOLS AND TO INCREASE THE ROBUSTNESS OF MULTIPLEXED PATHOGEN DETECTION PRODUCTS. MCB-2123995 SYNTHETIC AND SYSTEMS BIOLOGY APPROACHES TO SEMI-SYNTHETICCELLS WITH EXPANDED DNA ALPHABETS. THIS PROJECT INVOLVED ENGINEERINGBACTERIAL STRAINS THAT ARE ABLE TO REPLICATE, EVOLVE AND USE OURARTIFICIALLY EXPANDED GENETIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS (AEGEIS) - CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O1R01HG011669-01 ENSYMATIC SYNTHESIS OF RNA. THIS PROJECT WILL DELIVER AN ENZYME-ASSISTED RNA SYNTHESIS WITH QUALITY, LENGTH AND COST METRICS THAT WILL ENHANCE CURRENT MODELS 100-FOLD.
