IMPROVED ACCESS TO LIBRARY SERVICES. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED THE FOLLOWING: BOOKMOBILE (CURRENTLY 39 OUTLETS, SERVED 638 PATRONS) AND HOME DELIVERY (DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE; CURRENTLY 45 OUTLETS, SERVED 196 PATRONS). NEW VEHICLE (FORD ESCAPE) ON ORDER TO BE USED BY HOME DELIVERY ENHANCED AREA FOR PATRONS TO READ, RELAX AND LEARN ABOUT PLANTS AND BUTTERFLIES (COMMUNITY BUTTERFLY GARDEN LOCATED IN THE COURTYARD OF THE LIBRARY). CONTINUES SERVICES FOR LIBRARY PATRONS INCLUDE; ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEANING, MOBILITY SCOOTERS, STORY PORCH LISTENING STATIONS, BOOK SHELVES IN CHILDREN'S, TEEN ROOM DISPLAYS SPONSORSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES TO ENROLL AND OBTAIN A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA THROUGH THE CAREER ONLINE HIGH SCHOOL AT THE LARGO PUBLIC LIBRARY.
