THE MISSION OF FEPA IS TO SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL EMERGENCY MANAGERS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL TRAINING, POLICY ANALYSIS AND INFORMATION SHARING.

FEPA WAS NOT ABLE TO CONDUCT ITS ANNUAL MEETING AND WORK SESSION IN 2021 DUE TO COVID. FEPA DID CONDUCT A SUCCESSFUL MID-YEAR WORK SESSION IN 2021. THE SESSIONS INCLUDED TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES, INFORMATION SHARING AND EXCHANGES OF BEST PRACTICES FOR MORE THAN 150 ATTENDEES.
FEPA MAINTAINS A PROFESSIONAL FLORIDA-FOCUSED CERTIFICATION PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM RECOGNIZES INDIVIDUALS' PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, TRAINING EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT CONTRIBUTIONS.
