WAREHOUSE MANAGMENT ENSURES THAT MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES ARE MAINTAINED IN RESPONSE READINESS FOR REGIONAL MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TEAM RESPONSE MISSIONS SUCH AS ALTERNATE CARE SITES, RESPONDER REHABILITATION, AND TO SUPPORT MEDICAL SURGE IN THE FIELD AND AT HOSPITALS. THE COALITION SUPPORTS COMMUNITY EVENTS AS A WAY TO EXERCISE THE REGIONAL MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TEAM. DURING 2021, THIS INCLUDED PROVIDING FIRST AID STATIONS AT DISNEY MARATHONS, AND A SANFORD AIR SHOW.
THE COALITION CONTRACTED WITHT THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO PROVIDE EXPERIENCED INCIDENT MANAGMENT PERSONNEL TO SUPPORT STATE COVID19 VACCINATION MISSIONS FROM JANUARY THROUGH JUNE 2021. THE COALITION CONTINUED TO PROVIDE NURSING HOME INFECTION PREVENTION CONSULTATION AND FIT-TEST TRAIN-THE-TRAINER PROGRAMS UNDER A GRANT FROM THE FLORIDA HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION.
DEVELOPED A CRISIS STANDARDS OF CARE PLAN. UPDATED THE FOLLOWING REGIONAL PLANS CONTINUITY OF HEALTHCARE SERVICE DELIVERY, CONTINUITY OF OPERATIONS PLAN, FATALITY MGMT PLAN, HAZARD VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT, MARKETING PLAN, TRAINING PLAN, STRATEGIC PLAN, HIGHLY INFECTIOUS DISEASE RESPONSE PLAN, FAMILY ASSISTANCE CENTER RESPONSE TEAM DEPLOYMENT PLAN, DISASTER BEHAVORIAL HEALTH RESPONSE PLAN, COALITION PREPAREDNESS PLAN, COALITION OPERATIONS/RESPONSE PLAN, ALTERNATIVE CARE SITE PLAN, AND PEDIATRIC RESPONSE PLAN. PURCHASED DECONTAMINATION AND PPE EQUIPMENT FOR NEW HOSPITALS AND REPLACED EXPIRING EQUIPMENT AT OTHER HOSPITALS. IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC, THE COALITION PURCHASED 14 PORTABLE MORGUES AND 36 VENTILATORS FOR HOSPITALS WITHIN THE REGION. TRAINING PROVIDED INCLUDES HOSPITAL INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM TRAINING, CONTINUITY OF OPERATIONS PLANNING TRAINING, MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID TRAINING, STRESS FIRST AID TRAINING, NURSING HOME INFECTION PREVENTION TRAINING, AND WEATHER AWARENESS TRAINING. EXERCISES INCLUDED A TORNADO DRILL, AN ACTIVE SHOOTER DRILL, AND HURRICANE DRILL.
