HIGH ETHICAL STANDARDS IN BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONS, THE RECOGNITION OF THE WORTHINESS OF ALL USEFUL OCCUPATIONS, AND THE DIGNIFYING OF EACH ROTARIAN'S OCCUPATION AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE SOCIETY; THIRD. THE APPLICATION OF THE IDEAL OF SERVICE IN EACH ROTARIAN'S PERSONAL, BUSINESS, AND COMMUNITY LIFE; FOURTH. THE ADVANCEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING, GOODWILL, AND PEACE THROUGH A WORLDWIDE FELLOWSHIP OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL PERSONS UNITED IN THE IDEAL OF SERVICE.

ROTARY MADE GRANTS TO OVER 20 CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS OR INDIVIDUALS OF A CHARITABLE CLASS WHICH FOSTERED THE CORE PRINCIPAL OF SERVICE IN EACH ROTARIAN'S PERSONAL, BUSINESS, AND COMMUNITY LIFE. PARTICIPATION IN THESE GRANTS ADVANCED FELLOWSHIP OF ROTARIANS UNITED IN THE IDEAL OF SERVICE, INDIRECTLY, THROUGH CASH DONATIONS, AND DIRECTLY, IN PHYSICAL ACTS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE. THIS INCLUDED BUT WAS NOT LIMITED TO: BUYING AND DELIVERING TOYS TO UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN AT CHRISTMAS, PROVIDING CASH DONATIONS TO OTHER TAX-EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS, PROVIDING CASH DONATIONS TO ANOTHER TAX-EXEMPT ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE FOOD TO THE NEEDY, INTERNATIONAL SERVICE PROJECT, AND DONATIONS TO THE PLANT CITY YMCA.
