MEDICARE AND MEDICAID CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AGENCY SERVING INDIAN RIVER AND NORTHERN ST LUCIE COUNTIES, FLORIDA, PROVIDING INTERMITTENT SKILLED NURSING CARE: PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL AND SPEECH THERAPY; MEDICAL SOCIAL SERVICES; AND HOME HEALTH AIDE SERVICES TO HOMEBOUND PATIENTS RECOVERING FROM ILLNESS, INJURY OR SURGERY.
DURING THE YEAR ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2023, UNPAID VOLUNTEERS CONTRIBUTED MORE THAN 150 HOURS OF THEIR TIME IN DIRECT SUPPORT OF THE ORGANIZATION. VOLUNTEERS ASSISTED IN VARIOUS PROGRAM AREAS. BASED UPON THE HOURLY VOLUNTEER RATE OF APPROXIMATELY $31.80/HR. IN 2023 FOR THE STATE OF FLORIDA PER THE BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS, THE DOLLAR VALUE OF THOSE VOLUNTEER HOURS WAS APPROXIMATELY $5,000.
