THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SHELTER, MEALS AND HOSPITALITY TO HOMELESS FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN THROUGH A COOPERATIVE NETWORK OF LOCAL CONGREGATIONS. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS TO THESE FAMILIES AND OTHER DISADVANTAGED PERSONS COMPREHENSIVE ASSISTANCE IN THE AREAS OF TRANSPORTATION, COMPASSIONATE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AND ADVOCACY TO ASSIST THEM IN ACHIEVING THEIR POTENTIAL OF INDEPENDENT LIVING.

IN 2022, FAMILY PROMISE OF MOORE COUNTY SERVED A TOTAL OF 22 FAMILIES, INCLUDING 51 CHILDREN. WE PROVIDED 3,305 NIGHTS OF SHELTER FOR 13 FAMILIES, INCLUDING 31 CHILDREN. 64% OF THESE FAMILIES WERE SUCCESSFUL IN TRANSITIONING TO PERMANENT HOUSING WITH AN AVERAGE LENGTH OF STAY IN THE SHELTER OF 84 DAYS. WE ALSO CONTINUED TO STABILIZE 5 OF OUR "GRADUATE" FAMILIES, INCLUDING 12 CHILDREN. IN ADDITION, WE SERVED 7 FAMILIES WITH PREVENTION (OF HOMELESSNESS), INCLUDING 16 CHILDREN.
