ATLANTA CELEBRATES PHOTOGRAPHY STRIVES TO MAKE ATLANTA A LEADING CENTER FOR THE WORLD'S FASTEST GROWING ART FORM. BY PRODUCING THE LARGEST ANNUAL COMMUNITY ORIENTED PHOTO FESTIVAL IN THE UNITED STATES, WE PROVIDE EXPERIENCES THAT ENGAGE AND EDUCATE DIVERSE AUDIENCES THROUGH LENS-BASED MEDIA.

IN 2020, ACP CELEBRATED ITS 22ND ANNUAL FESTIVAL. DURING THE MONTH-LONG, CITY-WIDE FESTIVAL, ATLANTA WAS TRANSFORMED BY ALMOST 100 IN-PERSON AND ONLINE PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITIONS, COMPLIMENTED BY ZOOM LECTURES, PUBLIC ART PROJECTS, AND OTHER SPECIAL PROGRAMS, INCLUDING OUR ANNUAL PHOTOGRAHPY AUCTION, WHICH TOOK PLACE ONLINE. THE FESTIVAL ATTRACTED PROFESSIONAL AND AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHERS OF ALL AGES, ART COLLECTORS, GALLERY OWNERS, CURATORS AND GENERAL PHOTOGRAPHY ENTHUSIASTS. THE FESTIVAL WAS ALSO ACP'S PRIMARY WAY OF SUPPORTING EFFORTS OF OTHER LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS THROUGH COLLABORATIONS AND CROSS-PROMOTIONS. THE GOAL OF THE FESTIVAL WAS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES AND INSPIRATION FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS, EXPOSE DIVERSE AUDIENCES TO THE POWER OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND TO PROMOTE THE DIVERSE VENUES THAT EXHIBIT PHOTOGRAPHY IN ATLANTA.
