LIGHTHOUSE ARTCENTER, INC. WAS FORMED TO PROVIDE THE VEHICLE THROUGH WHICH INTEREST IN THE CLUTURAL ARTS COULD BE DELEVOPED AND ADVANCED. THIS OBJECTIVE IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH COURSES OF INSTRUCTION IN PAINTING, CERAMICS, SCULPTURE, ETC., THROUGH PERIODIC EXHIBITS OF VARIOUS ART FORMS BY QUALIFIED ARTISTS, THROUGH LECTURES, DEMONSTRATIONS, MOVIES AND VARIOUS FUNCTIONS DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE CITIZENS OF THE COMMUNITEY TO USE AND BENEFIT FROM.

THE SCHOOL OF ART IS DESIGNED TO SERVE THE LIGHTHOUSE ART CENTER, INC. MEMBERSHIP AND COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING ART EXPERIENCES FOR AGES PRE-K AND UP THROUGH A VARIETY OF STUDIO PROGRAMS. THESE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED FOR ARTISTS AND THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO BE ARTISTS OF ALL SKILL LEVEL. COURSES ARE PROVIDED IN A BROAD VARIET OF MEDIUMS.
EXHIBITIONS: THE LIGHTHOUSRE ARTCENTER PUTS ON ART EXHIBITIONS TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT NATIONALLY RECGONIZED, REGIONAL, AND LOCAL ARTISTS AS WELL AS MEMEBER AND STUDENT ARTISTS FROM THE CENTER. ESTIMATED NUMBER OF EXHIBIT VISITORS WAS 300.
