RAKSHA PROVIDES COUNSELING, ADVOCACY, REFERRALS, AND FINANCIAL AND IN-KIND DONATION ASSISTANCE TO SURVIVORS OF VIOLENCE CRIMES WHICH INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, DATING VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, CHILD ABUSE, AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA. RAKSHA ALSO PROVIDES OUTREACH AND EDUCATION TO THE SOUTH ASIAN AND OTHER CONNECTED COMMUNITIES ON THE ABOVE TYPES OF VIOLENCE AS WELLS AS INFORMATION ON RESOURCES AND RIGHTS. RAKSHA, INC. PROVIDES FREE AND CONFIDENTIAL DIRECT SERVICES SUCH AS COUNSELING, CASE MANAGEMENT, INTERPRETATION, TRANSLATION, ADVOCACY, CAREER ASSISTANCE, AND OTHER SERVICES TO SOUTH ASIANS. RAKSHA, INC. SOCIAL SERVICES INCLUDE FACE TO FACE COUNSELING, TELEPHONE COUNSELING, FACILITATING AND HOSTING MONTHLY SUPPORT GROUPS, PROMOTING CULTURAL SENSITIVITY TO LAW ENFORCEMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES, AND ADVOCACY FOR THE COMMUNITY'S OVERALL RIGHTS AND INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS THROUGH ACCESS TO SOCIAL SERVICES AND THE JUSTICE SYSTEM.
