UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, GOVERNED BY THE ORGANIZATION'S BYLAWS AND POLICY MANUAL, THE CARROLLTON AREA CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU'S PURPOSE IS TO ENHANCE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND GAIN RECOGNITION FOR THE CARROLLTON AREA THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF TOURISM AND ATTRACTION OF VISITORS.

ADVERTISING. 60% THE ORGANIZATION PLANS, BUDGETS AND CONDUCTS PROGRAMS OF ADVERTISING THAT PROMOTE CARROLLTON AND CARROLL COUNTY, GEORGIA, AS A DESTINATION FOR VISITORS. THIS INCLUDES PURCHASING DIGITAL AND PRINT ADVERTISING, MAINTAINING A ROBUST ONLINE PRESENCE, PRODUCING NEWSLETTERS, BROCHURES AND OTHER PUBLICATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO SOLICIT VISITORS.
