Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

THE YOUTH ORCHESTRA ASSOCIATION OF GREATER COLUMBUS, INC. SPONSORS AND PROMOTES TWO YOUTH ORCHESTRAS, A STRING ORCHESTRA AND A FULL ORCHESTRA. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR QUALIFIED STUDENTS TO ENHANCE THEIR MUSICAL EDUCATION AND PERFORMANCE SKILLS. WEEKLY REHEARSALS ARE PROVIDED FOR THE 51 STUDENTS SELECTED FOR THE ORCHESTRA. PROFESSIONAL COACHES ALSO PROVIDE SECTIONALS FOR THE FIRST HOUR OF REHEARSAL FOR APPROXIMATELY TW0-THIRDS OF REHEARSALS. THE ORCHESTRA PERFORMED THREE MAIN CONCERTS IN THE CURRENT YEAR: AN OUTDOOR HOLIDAY CONCERT AT THE TRADE CENTER, AN OUR TOWN CONCERT AT ILLGES PLAZA, AND A SUMMER STRING CAMP CONCERT AT CALVARY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL BY THE 25 SUMMER STRING CAMP STUDENTS. IN ADDITION TO THE CONCERTS PERFORMED, YOGC HOSTED TWO OUTDOOR JAM SESSIONS IN LAKEBOTTOM PARK.
