USING DONATIONS, MORTGAGE PROCEEDS, PROFITS FROM OUR THRIFT STORE, AND VOLUNTEER LABOR, HOUSTON COUNTY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BUILT TWO NEW HOMES AND REHABBED ONE HOME IN FYE 2018.HOUSTON COUNTY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY SELLS THE HOMES BELOW COST AND FINANCES THE SALE WITH NO-INTEREST LOANS. THESE NEW FAMILIES BRINGS OUR TOTAL FAMILIES SERVED THROUGH NEW CONSTRUCTION TO 55. 91 ADULTS AND OVER 100 CHILDREN HAVE BEEN SERVED THROUGH NEW CONSTRUCTION. IN ADDITION TO NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION, THE AFFILIATE EXPANDED OUR REPAIRS PROGRAM WHERE WE HELP HOMEOWNERS IN THE COMMUNITY WITH INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR REPAIRS. WE SERVED TWENTY FAMILIES WITH THIS PROGRAM.
