THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE ALLOWS MEMBERS TO HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR LEADING AUTHORITIES ADDRESS CURRENT TOPICS OF INTEREST TO NURSES INVOLVED IN PAIN MANAGEMENT. ATTENDEES RECEIVE CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS FOR EDUCATION PROGRAMS. THE IN-PERSON ANNUAL CONFERENCE WAS CANCELLED FOR 2021 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. A VIRTUAL CONFERENCE WAS HELD INSTEAD.
ASPMN PUBLISHES A PEER REVIEW JOURNAL, PAIN MANAGEMENT NURSING, OFFERING A UNIQUE FOCUS ON THE REALM OF PAIN MANAGEMENT AS IT APPLIES TO NURSING. ORIGINAL AND REVIEW ARTICLES FROM EXPERTS IN THE FIELD OFFERING KEY INSIGHTS IN THE AREA OF CLINICAL PRACTICE, ADVOCACY EDUCATION, ADMINISTRATION AND RESEARCH AS WELL AS PRACTICE GUIDELINES AND PHARMACOLOGY UPDATES.
