RAINBOW HOUSE OPERATES A SHELTER WHICH IS AUTHORIZED TO ACCOMODATE 16-20 AT-RISK CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS, INCLUDING TWO INFANTS. CURRENTLY THE SHELTER KEEPS AN AVERAGE OF 20 CHILDREN PER DAY AN AVERAGE LENGTH OF 90-18 DAYS
RAINBOW HOUSE ALSO OPERATES AN ADVOCACY CENTER FOR CHILDREN. THE CENTER WORKS WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND THE DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY AND CHILDREN'S SERVICES REGARDING THE AVUSE IF MINORS AND PROVIDES COUNSELING, ADVOCACY, FORENSIC INTERVIEWS, AND FORENSIC MEDICAL EXAMS FOR CHILDREN.
