THE ORGANIZATION RECRUITS AND MATCHES VOLUNTEERS FROM THE COMMUNITY WHO WILL PROVIDE A POSITIVE ADULT INFLUENCE TO CHILDREN IN NEED, ESPECIALLY IN SINGLE PARENT HOMES.
PROJECT MARS AMERICORPS - THIS PROGRAM IS SERVED BY AMERICORPS MEMBERS WHO ARE ASSIGNED TO SPECIFIC SCHOOL PARTNERS AS SCHOOL ENGAGEMENT COORDINATORS. THEIR DUTIES INCLUDE MENTORING, ACADEMIC ASSISTANCE AND PROVIDING RESOURCES FOR SUCCESS THROUGH THEIR COMMUNITY OUTREACH. THIS OUTREACH INCLUDES MENTOR RECRUITMENT AND DEVELOPMENT AND EXPANSION OF COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS FOR DONATIONS OF RESOURCES, SUCH AS VOLUNTEERS, FOOD, CLOTHING, SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND LEARNING/ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS.
