ALL OF THE SPECIAL EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES ARE DESIGNED TO PROMOTE THE COMMUNITY BY EXPOSING PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT AREAS OF THE STATE AND FROM DIFFERENT STATES TO LIFE IN EVANS COUNTY. THESE AND OTHER EFFORTS ARE MADE TO HELP IDENTIFY, ATTRACT, AND LOCATE NEW BUSINESSES AND INDUSTRY INTO THE COUNTY TO INCREASE TRADE, INDUSTRY, AGRIBUSINESS, COMMERCE, AND TOURISM, THEREBY IMPROVING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN THE COUNTY AND IMPROVING THE OVERALL WELFARE OF THE COMMUNITY.
